PROSAFE is launching a call for facilitators in the context of a call for proposals for EU action grants in the field of Market Surveillance under the Internal Market, Standardisation, Consumers and other financial services end-users part of the Single Market Programme. The EU call covers the following topic: EU support to joint market surveillance actions for non-food products. 

PROSAFE is seeking consultant services to provide expertise and support through different roles and responsibilities.

Call for Auditing Companies to Deliver Services for JA2015 interim report 

PROSAFE is looking for an auditing company to provide services for the Joint Action 2015 (JA2015) concerning the interim report for the period April 2016 to May 2017. The project was launched in April 2016 and will be finalised in June 2018. The audit should take place in accordance with Annex 5 of the GPSD and H2020 Grant Agreements and refer to a Report of Factual Findings on costs declared under the Grant Agreement. This report needs to be issued to the European Commission not later than July 2017. The deadline for submission of offers is 19 June 2017. Energy Efficiency Compliant Products 2018 (EEPLIANT3) Call for Proposals for IT Development and Services

PROSAFE is launching a Call for Proposals for the EU-funded Energy Efficiency Compliant Products 2018 (EEPLIANT3) Concerted Action concerning the further adaptation of a webapp tool for the collection and upload of data based on Python – Django framework with an Excel-like interface achieved by means of a Javascript plugin. This work is part of Work Package 2 – Development and implementation of IT tools supporting market surveillance for ecodesign and labelling.

The objective of this Concerted Action is to help deliver the intended economic and environment benefits of the framework Regulation for Energy Labelling 2017/1369 and Ecodesign Directive 2009/125 by increasing the rates of compliance with them. Within one of the work packages of EEPLIANT 3 (Work Package 2) IT tools will be developed or adapted and made available with the aim of transforming the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of market surveillance authorities across the EU. One of these IT initiatives is the adaptation of a tool created under the previous action EEPLIANT2 identified as “upload to ICSMS tool”. This tool, split between two apps is described in the enclosed Specifications of the present tool and expected changes, allows A) for project participants to record data in an online server, and B) for this data to be processed, exported, and uploaded into the EC’s DG GROW ICSMS database. Our next objective is to expand the tool to allow for its use under this current project.

Residential Ventilation Units: Call for Tender

For the EU-funded project Energy Efficiency Compliant Products 2018 (EEPLIANT3) vores bureau (vb) is seeking accredited, independent laboratories located within the European Economic Area (EEA) with experience of testing Residential Ventilation Units (RVUs) using harmonised EU standards. An open Call for Tender is now available and is covering appliance testing in second half 2021 – beginning 2022.

An important part of the EEPLIANT3 Concerted Action is the testing of appliances for compliance with the relevant energy labelling and ecodesign regulations. This requires the testing of appliances according to the appropriate European standards in accredited test labs.

This call for tender covers energy efficiency testing programmes under two product groups which are distinguished based on their capacity range. Tenderers may bid for one of the product groups or for both:

  1. RVUs with a maximum flow rate ≤ 450 m3/h
  2. RVUs with a maximum flow rate from 450 m3/h to 1000 m3/h

Vacancy announcement - Policy and Project Intern

PROSAFE is seeking to recruit a Policy and Project Intern for a six months period starting as soon as possible. The offer of employment is for a full-time paid internship.

The intern would be employed within the team responsible for the implementation of a Joint and Concerted Actions on market surveillance.
