Energy Efficiency Compliant Products 2018 (EEPLIANT3) Call for Tender for Test Laboratories – Air Conditioners and Tumble Dryers

The Austrian Energy Agency (AEA) is launching a Call for Tender for the EU-funded Energy Efficiency Compliant Products 2018 (EEPLIANT3) Concerted Action concerning specific product groups covered under Work Package 7 – Air conditioners and Work Package 8 – Tumble Dryers.
AEA is seeking accredited, independent laboratories located within the European Economic Area (EEA) with experience of testing specific product groups using EU standards. In particular, this call for tender covers energy efficiency testing programmes under the groups:

1) "Split Air Conditioners"
2) "Single and double ducted Air Conditioners"

both subject to Commission Regulation (EC) No 206/2012 (ecodesign) and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 626/2011 (energy labelling) as well as

3) "Household Tumble Dryers“
subject to Commission Regulation (EC) No 932/2012 (ecodesign) and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 392/2012 (energy labelling).

Tenders can be sent either for one, two or all three product groups. Further details, e.g. of criteria for bidders, the exact scope of products to be tested and tasks to be done, documents to be included in your bid as well as an opportunity to ask questions, are provided in the official tender invitation accessible here.
