IAN FRASER

Technical Facilitator/Senior Market Surveillance Expert

Running Projects: JAHARP2021 Omnibus, JAHARP2020-2, JAHARP2020-3 and JAHARP2018.

After many years managing occupational health and safety in industry, Ian FRASER was employed at the French Ministry of Labour, implementing European legislation on personal protective equipment and machinery safety. He then joined the services of the European Commission to lead the team in charge of European product safety directives in the mechanical engineering sector. Since leaving the Commission in 2014, he has been a PROSAFE Consultant, facilitating joint market surveillance actions on sports equipment, PPE, machinery, recreational craft and transportable pressure equipment.
