Joint Market Surveillance Action on Harmonised Products JAHARP18 Recreational Craft - Request for Services

PROSAFE is launching a request for temporary services for the EU-funded Joint Market Surveillance Action on Harmonised Products JAHARP2018 Recreational Craft. One of the activities included in the Joint Action concerns Recreational Craft. Seven national market surveillance authorities are taking part in this activity from Bulgaria, Finland, France, Latvia, Malta, Portugal and Sweden.

The activity will target inflatable craft (not including RHIBs) and small open boats. Samples will be collected from the market in each of the participating countries and sent to a common test laboratory.

In preparation for the sampling and testing, a training day is being organised on 13 March 2020 in Amsterdam.

PROSAFE is seeking an independent expert to assist with this training. More information on the role of the expert are included in the General Conditions of Tender accessible here.

The JA2016 Layman Report summarising the final project results is published!

The Joint Market Surveillance Action 2016 (JA2016) on General Product Safety Directive (GPSD) products funded by the European Union, which started in September 2017 has finalised its activities in October 2019. To mark the end of this Action, we have published the Layman Report highlighting the project achievements and the final testing and inspection results.
