SCOPE

The objective of this project is to support the efficient implementation of the Energy Efficiency and Ecodesign legislation, Directive on Low Voltage Equipment 2014/35/EU, and  Regulation (EU) 2019/1020. The intent is to create measurable, verifiable and sustainable impact from knowledge-sharing and convergence among MSAs - turned into actionable reccomendations. 

OBJECTIVE

The main objectives of this project work package are summarised as follows:

  • Map best practice areas and the needs of MSAs that would be relevant to study;
  • Prioritise and select two cases;
  • Execute study visits based on the cases selected;
  • Develop lessons learned and training for further dissemination;
  • Increasing the profile of EU market surveillance in general;
  • Presenting transformative pragmatic/feasible policy and non-policy recommendations driven by the results of our activities to support the European Commission and MSAs in addressing uniformly and effectively common and emerging challenges in non-food products market surveillance pertaining to Regulation (EU) 2019/1020.
