HARP2021 1st Press Release

The Joint Action on Harmonised Products 2022 – JAHARP2022 has started! The project launched the First Press Release to display scope, activities, and timelines. JAHARP2022  is a portfolio of projects co-funded by the European Union that comprises 7 product areas and 2 horizontal/capacity building activities.

The strategic objective of the projects portfolio is twofold:

  1. To remove non-compliant and dangerous products from the Single Market;
  2. and to support the application of the new Market Surveillance Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 with the development of common approaches and good practices.

Background

The market surveillance joint Actions are autonomous yet synergetic, and each has a duration of 24 months. In total, 25 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from 16 countries participate: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden.
