JAHARP2022-05 Final Press Release

The JAHARP2022-05 project focused on asbestos and type-approval of brake pads for vehicles of category L1e-B (mopeds) and L3e (motorcycles). It had a duration of 26 months, starting in June 2023 and ending in July 2025. Its main goal was detecting product non-compliances with the REACH Regulation 1907/2006 and UN/ECE Regulation 90.

The final conference of this EU-funded project took place on 14 July 2025. In the Final Press Release, we discuss the key findings, observations, and policy recommendations. Read more about it here:

JAHARP2022-02 Final Press Release

The JAHARP2022-02 project focused on solar ancillary equipment (WP2) and pellet stoves (WP3). It has a duration of 24 months, starting in April 2023 and ending in March 2025. Its main goal was detecting product non-compliances with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2014/30/EU, the Ecodesign Regulation 2015/1185, and the Energy Labelling Regulation 2015/1186.

For WP2 on solar ancillary equipment, a final conference took place on 24 March 2025, while for WP3 on pellet stoves the event was carried out on 21 March 2025. In the Final Press Release, we discuss the key findings, observations, and policy recommendations. Read more about it here:

JAHARP2022-04 Final Press Release

The JAHARP2022-04 project focused on the harmonisation of market surveillance methodologies (WP2) and mutual visits (WP3). It has a duration of 24 months, starting in April 2023 and ending in March 2025. Its main goal was creating measurable, verifiable and sustainable impact from knowledge-sharing and convergence among MSAs - turned into actionable recommendations.

The final conference took place on 17 March 2025, during which the project team presented the results of the Action to the European Commission and key stakeholders. In the Final Press Release, we discuss the key findings, observations, and policy recommendations. Read more about it here:

JAHARP2022-03 Final Press Release

The JAHARP2022-03 project focused on e-car (EV) charging stations (WP2) and chainsaws (WP3). It has a duration of 24 months, starting in April 2023 and ending in March 2025. Its main goal was detecting product non-compliances with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2014/30/EU, the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2014/35/EU, and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

For WP2 on EV charging stations, a final conference will be held on 28 March 2025, while for WP3 on chainsaws an event already took place on 19 March 2025. In the Final Press Release, we discuss the key findings, observations, and policy recommendations. Read more about it here:
